Riga
Riga is the capital of Latvia as well as the biggest city in all of the Baltic States. Riga's historical center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its Art Nouveau architecture and 19th century wooden architecture. In 2014 Riga received the title to become the European Capital of Culture. At the same time, Riga is a truly cosmopolitan European capital, with lots of different languages spoken by the locals and people from both East and West choosing it as their new home town. The constant flow of people and ideas make the city a robust and innovative center providing something for everyone, and possibly that is why many refer to it as the city of inspiration.
