Central and Eastern European Network of Jurisprudence

Central and Eastern European Network of Jurisprudence has organised conferences in regard of contemporary issues of legal theory, legal methods and legal sociology since 2005. Every year the conference has been devoted to different topic and within these years conferences has been held in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Poland, Macedonia and Slovenia. Topics that are covered in these conferences comprises not only theoretical aspects of the law, but also practical ones, letting to satisfy each lawyer’s divergent appetite. Last years’ conference was held in Lithuania and it was dedicated to Israel’s most prominent legal scholar Aharon Barak who was born in Lithuania, and many topics
thereof were related to his works such as Judicial Discretion and Purposive Interpretation in Law.
