For Authors

Shortly after the conference a special issue of the Journal of the University of Latvia „Law” dedicated to legal theory will be published. Authors participating at the conference will have the opportunity to submit the presented papers for publication in this special issue of the Journal of the University of Latvia „Law”.

The Journal of the University of Latvia „Law” is indexed in the EBSCO Research Database. For more information on the Journal of the University of Latvia „Law” please visit its webpage. The following rules apply to the papers submitted for publication:
  • The papers must be uploaded, using this webpage (section "Paper Submission")
  • The paper must be written in English or German
  • The length of the paper must be 20 000 to 40 000 characters (with spaces)
  • The paper must include the following:
    • A headline
    • The author’s name, surname, university, faculty, department, e-mail address and phone number
    • Keywords
    • The text, followed by a summary
    • References to sources
    • A bibliography
  • Literary and terminological precision should be ensured in your paper, as you will be held responsible for any imprecision or errors;
